The sessions are run as letters from the alphabet. Over time I will be introducing block booked sessions at a discounted price. Currently sessions are pay as you go at £7.50 per session but places will still need to be booked in advance as places are limited.

November Launch of Alphabetty Sessions

 

November will see the Alphabetty sessions move to a Wednesday slot. For more information about upcoming classes, “like” the facebook page to keep up to date with events. With the launch of the Wednesday session there will be an introductory offer. Sign up to the class and bring a friend and their child to the same class and you will get your next class at ½ price! All you have to do is mention the friend you have introduced in your booking email. The only restriction is that your friend cannot have already attended an Alphabetty session before.

 

New loyalty cards

 

We are also launching a loyalty card from November 2018. Each session you receive a stamp for attending. After 10 classes – you will get the 11thfor free.

Each session starts with a well-known story that links to that week's letter and a whole new range of activities and skills. I will advertise on facebook the book for that week should you wish to read the books in advance of the sessions so that your child will become familiar with the stories. However this is not compulsory, as the session will be a great opportunity for you and your child to discover new stories to add to your own collection. All sessions are interactive for both the child and adult and will involve some sort of messy activity. Parents, bear this in mind when getting your little ones dressed and have some wet wipes to hand just in case it all gets a bit messy!

Being a parent it can often be tricky when you have two young ones, therefore babies up to the age of 2 can come to each session with their paying sibling for free. They will benefit from listening to the stories and the multi sensory activities even if they can't fully participate. For siblings between the age of 2-5 there is a 10% discount on the block sessions. It can be quite tricky with children of varying ages, especially during the school holidays where you can't be three places at once, so, during the school holidays sessions, older siblings from 6+ can come along and support their younger siblings, or entertain themselves in our large community hall for free.
